Imagewest shares its history-making trip to Malaysia with an open house, presentation and gallery opening/reception for “Parallels: 7˚ North. During the summer, the agency traveled to Malaysia for a month to work with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The team worked with the Communication Department to design and launch a new website, and created an opening video and backdrop for an International Conference on the Representation of Islam and Muslims in the Media. The account team also developed a public relations plan to help recruit international and exchange students from around the world. The team also designed several web templates for the IIUM Information Technology Division. Additionally, Imagewest conducted interactive workshops and lectures for students and faculty to attend. Most exciting was consulting with IIUM to create a student-run agency like ours and they named it “ImageEast!”
